At Containers Direct we practice what we preach. Meaning our own offices are shipping container buildings! With plenty of choice on the market, from a shipping container conversion, new builds and flat packs, we opted for the CXO self-assembly range, which you can of course buy from Containers Direct. To accommodate our fast growing work force, we needed 11 of these units, each approximately 20ft long by 8ft wide. As these units are modular, they can be joined up side by side to create an area of space as big as is needed. The space can be left open plan, but in our case we needed internal partitions to segregate some of the areas. In all we needed to achieve a length of 88ft in order to accommodate separate areas of space for our different departments, a meeting room, kitchen area, toilets and storage space.
