This container conversion is for storing large chlorine drums for a company that provides gas and liquid chemical dosing systems to their clients.
The drums get wheeled in and out of the container on a cradle. The container is being sunk on site so that the surrounding concrete ground is level with the interior floor level of the container. We modified the doors to allow for this (so that the doors can open and pass over the concrete, and the drums can be wheeled in easily)
The kick plates on the doors fold out to lie flat, in order to provide a seal for the rubber on the doors when closed.
