The Calpeda NM, NMD series of centrifugal pump is designed for the transfer of clean low viscosity fluids without abrasives, containing up to 0.2% solids content. This range of pumps can be constructed with either a cast iron casing (NM, NMD versions) or bronze casing (B-NM, B-NMD versions). Most cast iron models are supplied with a brass impeller, NM 17 is supplied with a cast iron impeller. Most bronze models are also supplied with a brass impeller, B-NM 17 is supplied with a bronze impeller.
The NM version is manufactured with a single impeller, the NMD version is manufactured with two back to back impellers.
Common applications include; water supply, heating, air-conditioning, cooling, circulation, civil, irrigation, fire fighting, sea water transfer and sea water cooling.
This Calpeda pump range is supplied with BSP connections as standard.
Motor options include 230V single phase 50Hz, 230V/400V three phase 50Hz and 400V/690V three phase 50Hz, other voltages and 60Hz motors are available on request.
