Established in 1994 Potter Plant Hire was started by Giles Potter with just one CAT traxcavator since then the company has has grown and developed a good customer base, and the fleet steadily expanded to over 500 machines with a network of skilled operators spread throughout the UK.
Potter Plant Hire operates from a purpose built premises comprising of a modern 6 bay workshop with ancillary offices. We are strategically positioned in the North of England on the outskirts of Thirsk with great access to all major roads, we can efficiently serve the length and breadth of the country.
Our fleet consists of tracked and wheeled excavators, dump-trucks, rollers, motor graders and dozers which can be supplied with the option of automated Trimble GPS machine control. All of our machines are available self drive or operated. Potter Plant Hire customer base varies from small domestic jobs to major civil engineering and motorway contracts.
