King Contract Services Ltd was founded by our director Lewis King in 2017, as a provider of specialist recruitment services to the construction industry. Lewis’ background is in professional construction recruitment and he has first-hand experience of the problems faced by contractors and subcontractors when recruiting reliable construction specialists for onsite roles. In particular, he became aware of how a lack of knowledge on the part of general, non-specialist recruitment agencies inhibited their ability to provide the best and most reliable talent for the construction sector.
At its heart, therefore, King Contract Services is built around a deep understanding of the recruitment requirements of site managers and construction directors at every level of the sector, including the need for reliability on site, language and communication difficulties with non-UK workers, validation of both qualifications and practical skills-based competency, and the need to keep costs and turnaround times low for key positions.
We now have a team of five recruitment specialists and a large active database of candidates looking for both permanent and temporary work. Based out of our office in Southwark, London, we operate throughout London and Southeast England, with a candidate network and operational coverage that extends throughout the UK and beyond.
Together we combine over 40 years’ experience in construction recruitment, and are equipped to fill any construction vacancy, at short notice or even next day if required.
