The Alta is an award-winning and distinctly ‘Woodbender’ design. It has won two design awards in Germany and has been extremely popular in hospitality establishments in a multitude of different timber finishes and upholstery fabrics.
Compact and lightweight
All but three parts of the chair are bentwood
Half of the seat is able to be tucked in under a table, therefore it takes up a bit more floor space but offers arm support
The D shaped bentwood seat helps reduce the need for joins and strengthens the chair
The U shaped bentwood backrest detail adds a retro design element to the chair
The back leg bends out only as far as the edge of the backrest to
keep the chair compact and within the frame and not sticking out
Available in clients own choice of fabric and Hill Cross wood stain
