40ft Open Top Container

Corten steel construction, Two locking bars on EACH door, 2 x forklift pockets on each side, Factory fitted lockbox, Min 2 Vents per container. Our Open Top containers are ideal where cargo is to be crane loaded from above or where normal door openings make access impossible. Available with hard or soft top options with a tarpaulin cover and roof bows these containers have an internal height of 2.25m and come in standard 40ft size. With standard double doors, most now include a removable header bar above the doors to allow over height or fork-lift access. Primarily a cargo unit, they are not recommended for long-term storage uses. Floor depth is typically greater for an open top container where additional strengthening in the base is required. This varies according to producer so please do check with us before ordering.
