The system allows to automatically check the unique characteristics of the key via a camera vision system and obtain the relative cylinders (one or two) complete with the respective pins. The coding is performed with advanced vision technology with dedicated camera and lighting; a high precision mechanical equipment checks the profile of both the toothed key and the depths of the European cylinder key. Once the key coding is achieved, the system automatically supplies the pins from vibratory feeders and it inserts the specific pins inside the virgin cylinder in order to create a unique piece. The system is designed for the coding of one or two cylinders per work cycle, in this way a better management of the production capacity of the machinery is guaranteed.
The system provides for the possibility of exchanging the key/cylinder format in production by replacing in manual mode keys and cylinder housing fixtures specially designed and manufactured for a quick changeover, which decisively limits set-up times.
