Materials: 304 stainless steel (wetted parts) — good corrosion resistance for many industrial fluids
Pressure Rating: Typically about 100 psi (≈ 6.9 bar) at ~150 °F (~65 °C)
Configuration: Multiple thin, corrugated plates stacked in a frame — creates alternating channels for hot and cold fluids to flow in counter-current for efficient heat transfer
Typical Usage: Used in industrial heating or cooling loops, dairy/milk processing pre-cooling, food & beverage, chemical process industries, HVAC systems, and other fluid temperature control applications
