CPL have designed the cutaway KL32 van mount picker specifically for the Telecoms industry. It is also becoming very popular in several other sectors like Rental.
The KL32 cutaway van mount picker has fast become a leader in our range as it has been designed with no outriggers, this has given the conversion, mounted on a 4.5t, an outstanding payload. CPL have worked closely with the telcoms sector to ensure this new design is fully fit for purpose.

All necessary tools and equipment can be stored directly on the vehicle. This on-board storage eliminates the need for additional vehicles. It allows you to have everything you need at your fingertips, reducing downtime and improving workflow efficiency.
Compact Size
Van aerial platforms often have a more compact footprint compared to some larger, stand-alone platforms. This smaller size can be a significant advantage when working in tight or restricted areas where larger vehicles might have trouble maneuvering. The compact size also makes it easier to navigate through heavy city traffic or crowded job sites.
Reduced Operational Costs
The integrated design of these platforms often means lower fuel consumption than using separate vehicles for transportation and lift operation. Additionally, having a combined vehicle and lift reduces the need for costly equipment rentals, as well as the maintenance costs associated with multiple machines
The type approved van mount platform boasts a working height of 11.9m and a working outreach of 6.7m. The KL32 van mount picker has been built to cater for a 1 man team with a 120kg safe working load in the basket. This aspect along with the no outrigger design makes it a speedy set up and cost saving option.
The conversion can be diesel, running off the PTO or hybrid which consists of a diesel Renault Master and a battery powered Green Pack boom. The boom can be operated with the engine switched off. Not only is this better for the environment, it is a silent function and is again cost saving. Take a look at our previous article highlighting the savings made from a Green Pack boom here.
