As of January 1, 2023, the construction equipment trading company Weigel-Bautechnik has become an official distribution dealership, serving a major portion of the German state of Thuringia and offering the complete construction equipment portfolio for Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE).
Founded in 1992, soon after Germany’s reunification, Weigel Bautechnik Gmbh is headquartered in Blankenhain, Germany with a further branch in Rudolstadt, 30 km southeast of Erfurt. The company specialises in the selling and leasing of earthmoving machinery.
Quality, Price and Performance.
Speaking of why he chose to partner with Hyundai, Weigel owner Michael Weigel explained: “The quality and price to performance ratio of Hyundai equipment are what won me over. And more importantly, because the settings can be geared to the needs of each operator. The equipment itself is so durable, the machines can be in action for much longer periods of time” he adds.
Customers leasing a piece of equipment from Weigel can, at any time, convert that lease into a purchase. Weigel explains: “We own all of our machinery which gives customers greater choice and flexibility when deciding whether to purchase a piece of equipment of their own. They can test it through their lease with us and buy after leasing if it has worked well for them. In this way, customers bear few risks when it comes to making the decision to own a machine.”
A new direction in Germany.
